Australia’s Mobile Networks
Australia, with about 25 million residents, has 3 major Wireless Networks. All other network service providers are just mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs).
- Telstra is a telecommunications juggernaut with the reputation for having superior network coverage and reception
- Optus which is the second-largest telecommunications provider with many MVNOS
- Vodafone is Australia’s third biggest Carrier
- Virgin Mobile is the fourth Aussie Cellular Network but in reality, it is just an Optus MVNO.

Australia Full IMEI Check Info
All the data below is crucial and there is no other way to acquire it
SIM Lock Status and which Wireless Network is blocking the handset
The SIM Not Valid prompt doesn’t necessarily mean that a cell phone is simlocked. But if it is network locked then you need to know the locking Carrier’s identity because you won’t be able to unlock it otherwise
A Blacklisted smartphone won’t operate with any Cellular Network inside the country it was blacklisted.
Contract Status and Outstanding Financial Balance Status
Under Contract handsets and pending contract bills can blacklist a mobile even after you bought it.
Under Warranty phones can be reported as stolen or lost. On top of that, the original owner can ask for a replacement. Any of these actions will blacklist your iPhone even after you purchased it.
iCloud Activation Lock Status for iPhones
You won’t be able to activate an iCloud Locked iPhone (Find My iPhone enabled) without original owner’s Apple ID and Password.
Google Smart Lock Status for Android devices
Similar to iCloud Activation Lock. I don’t know any service that can remove Google Smart Lock.
Replaced IMEI/Serial Number Status
The Serial/IMEI number can be changed with illegal procedures in order to network unlock the cell phone. In the end, the handset will be flagged as replaced and enter the blacklist.
